With the Food Network seemingly running barbecue cook-offs every other Saturday morning, you might find you’re ready for a visit to Port Chester’s barbecue spot, Q. The high-ceilinged, two-story restaurant has a modern feel with its walls and furniture coated in bright oranges and stark whites. The throwback artwork (think Zoro, cowboys and American Indians) lining the walls adds a bit more fun to this funky space. On the day we went, we immediately lucked into an available table for five and, wasting no time, our server recommended the hickory-pit baked beans, the pulled pork sandwich and ribs. The huge portion of sweet, smoky pulled pork stacked high on a soft roll from The Kneaded Bread (the restaurant’s sister shop) did not disappoint.
